Magnet shapes & production scrap

Offer neodymium magnets for sale by form and origin

Ring, block, disc, cylinder, segment, HDD assembly or broken magnet: geometry helps with sorting, but is not evidence of the material.

Distinction

Shape does not determine the material

NdFeB

Often silver-coloured because of their coating, but they cannot be reliably identified by appearance.

SmCo

A separate rare-earth magnet family; record it separately and do not mix it with NdFeB.

Ferrite

Ceramic permanent-magnet material without rare-earth elements; generally requires a different recovery route.

AlNiCo

Aluminium-nickel-cobalt permanent-magnet material; not NdFeB.
